We're home now. Dale and I got ourselves to the airport yesterday and I had some empanadas at an airport restaurant before leaving. The server recommended the ones with beef. They were great.

Puerto Rico Trip 2013 - Final Morning: Coffee on the Balcony

We woke up to a cloudy morning and Dale told me we got a little bit of rain over night. Dale went to the lobby and got coffee which we drank on the balcony. This Island is beautiful even when it's cloudy.

Puerto Rico Trip 2013 - Dinner at Aguaviva

The ceviche was amazing. We had both the mahi and the shrimp. Dale had the salmon for dinner and I had the seared shrimp. For dessert we split the coffee creme brûlée. It was all so wonderful it almost brought tears to my eyes.

The buildings in Old San Juan look very old world. The narrow streets and cobblestone add to the charm.

After the Cigar House we took a walking tour up to the capitol building. It's a beautiful building and it faces the Atlantic. It's also just a stone's throw from the old fort.

Dale and I cabbed it to the old city around 4:00 p.m. Our first stop was The Cigar House which had been recommended to me by my friend, Steve.
