We didn't allow quite enough time to get through security. Since we checked in online we thought we had a little more time this morning than we actually did. We made it through security with only 7 minutes to get to our plane. It turns out the plane pulled out of the gate just a tad early to de-ice. The gate agent told us that we had missed it by just a couple minutes. She felt awful and did what she could to get us on the next flight. Turned out it wasn't a problem. Instead of leaving at 6:45 a.m.mthis morning we'll be heading out at around 11:00 a.m. Dale felt awful about not leaving enough time to get through security. He said he didn't think it would be as busy as it was so early in the morning. Find a spot in long term parking wasn't as easy as we thought either. No worries though. Having some time to spare allowed us to have a leisurely breakfast at the airport's French Meadow Bakery and gave me a chance to pick up some sunglasses (which I forgot to pack) at the Harley Davidson store. The young guy that worked there was perky and kept calling me brother but I didn't mind since he was sweet (and kinda cute whichnis another reason I let him get away with it). Besides, if I could work at a place that allowed me to wear boots, badass jeans, and a sleeveless western style orange and black plaid shirt, I' probably refer to people casually too.
