Dale was up at about 5. He fed the cats and made coffee. I was up by 5:30. We then sat on the loungers and drank the coffee. It was very relaxing. I think we've seen the sunrise every morning we've been here so far.
I walked in the pool for a while which was easy on my ankle. I went inside briefly for some cereal but then came back out and read some more. Shortly after 8 I moved under the overhang as the sun was getting more direct. I came in about 9:00 because it just started to get too warm by that point. I got in about 3 and 1/2 hours of outside time this morning!
Dale continued working while I read on the bed for a while. Spooky jumped up and joined me. L'ilbit jumped up too but wouldn't get any closer than arms length. Still, that's sayin' something cuz that's the closest she's ever got to me so far. Later on I checked in on the birds and found L'ilbit lounging on top of their cage. She let me give her a quick pat without running off. Progress.
I took a selfie this morning standing in the pool and then ran it through an ai filter I found. It kinda messed up my thumb but did wonders for the rest of me. If only.
