Found this beautiful photo of Mazatlan on the wall of the airport.

Found the above sign just before getting to the gate.

Mazatlan 2015 Day 6 - Last Morning

Friday, April 3, 2015

Feeling a bit melancholy on our last morning here. Got up and had coffee and Bimbo donuts on the balcony. We took a walk over to the Turtle sanctuary to visit Las Tortugas. They are incredibly cute. Did my morning beach walk. Cloudy morning. I'm gonna miss this.

Mazatlan 2015 Day 5 - Cigar Time

Another Te-Amo for the hot tub...

The moon was beautiful...

From Dales blog for today:
"Our last full day in Mexico. It’s going to be hard to leave tomorrow especially with snow in the forecast for next week in Minneapolis."
"I am still a little annoyed with myself for forgetting to bring dress clothes for what would have been our big dinner out in Mazatlan, but we still had a lovely evening last night with barbecued chicken and stir fried vegetables followed by our ritual of sitting in the hot tub while Joe smoked a cigar (I’ll never understand the attraction, but he loves it)."
"I have to admit I’m fighting that little melancholy that comes as the end of a magical vacation approaches, but feel much more strongly the gratitude for being able to do a trip like this and the generosity of my cousin and her husband for letting us use this beautiful condo."

Mazatlan 2015 Day 5 - Last Full Day

Dale and I  took a drive out to Isla de Piedra (Stone Island). We had to drive on a bumpy gravely back road to get there. That was one rustic and authentic looking Mexican seaside town. We were looking for a restaurant called Letty's but weren't able to find it. Maybe next time. This town was definitely out of the bubble.

Dinner tonight a Los Delfines over at the hotel. We were there about 5:30 p.m. and were the only ones in the restaurant. We sat in the corner near an open door next to a speaker that was blaring loud 80's American music for the pool party going on outside.
